Product Description
Tra (Pangasius-hypophthalmus) and Basa (Pangasius- bocourti) are two kinds of Pangasidae, which have high economic value, and mainly in Mekong Delta -Vietnam and some other countries in South East Asia and become one of the important species in this region.
Male Pangasius are most fertile at two years old for Male Fish and at three years old for Female fish. In natural environment, the reproductive season started from May to June. In artificial reproduction, people can make the fish become matured and fertile early and can lay eggs earlier than in the natural environment. In the natural, the Pangasius usually lay eggs on their trips to other places. In the ponds and cages, the Pangasius can lay 67.000 eggs (with Pangasius 7kg).
